We’re two foxes in search of adventure! Far from being a classic travel blog, The Fox Diary is first and foremost a place for sharing and telling travel stories. Therefore, we go to remote places, meet incredible people, see wild animals and watch the sun rise over breathtaking landscapes!

Above all, we want to travel ethically. We never leave a trace behind and we respect the tranquillity of people and animals alike. So, all our advice and stories are in this spirit, and we’ve tried to think of all the little details for you 😊

We’ve needed it too 😉 So after years of experimenting, here’s all the advice that’s been useful to us in every way: packing a big rucksack without loosing your mobility nor your sanity (or both), going off on your own for the first time, how to avoid breaking the bank when setting off to an expensive destination, how to discover a culture without going through tourist traps…

If you’re not used to travelling solo or in small groups, it’s normal to have a lot of questions: Which airline should I choose? How do you find cheap accommodation? Is it possible to camp out in the countryside? How do you prepare for your trip? What mode of transport should you choose? What clothes should I pack for a hike in the cold?
